This January 2025, the Islamic Council hosted its most successful annual dinner to date at the esteemed Royal Nawaab, bringing together community members, supporters, and esteemed scholars for an evening of reflection, inspiration and generosity. The event theme: 'Guided by Shari'ah; Inspiring Lives, Empowering Futures' set the tone for a wonderful evening of vision and reflection.
A Night of Togetherness and Generosity
The evening, hosted by Rahim Jung, featured a delicious three-course meal, heartfelt reminders from respected shuyookh, and presentations highlighting the Islamic Council's achievements throughout 2024. Attendees were given informative insights into the ongoing work of Islamic Council, showcasing how our initiatives have supported and uplifted our Muslim community.
Our fundraising segment proved to be a great success, raising tens of thousands of pounds to further the vital work of Islamic Council. This outpouring of generosity from our guests and supporters made this dinner our most successful fundraising event to date, a testament to the collective commitment to positive change.
The event served as a platform to inform our supporters of the Council's efforts, spotlighting key achievements from the past year while emphasising the goals we strive toward. It was a celebration of how the principles of Shari'ah guide our work, inspire lives and empower futures.
Art, Inspiration and Achievement
Throughout the evening, guests were captivated by the speakers. We also had a calligraphy artist, who created beautiful Arabic pieces live as cherished keepsakes.
